Brown Bears defenseman Norris makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Blake Norris has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point in the WIAC.

Norris, 20, just wrapped up his first full season in the NAHL. The Warrod, MN native began his NAHL career in 2021-2022, appearing in three games for Kenai River before joining the team full time during the 2023-204 season. In 62 total games, Norris tallied a total of 16 points (2 goals, 14 assists), including one game winning goal and one powerplay goal.  

Norris is the 5th player to commit for the Brown Bears this season and will join 7 NAHL at Stevens Point in the fall.
