Wolverines Assistant Captain Shea makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The Anchorage Wolverines of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that Assistant Captain Kade Shea has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for University of Wisconsin- Superior in the WIAC.
Shea, 21, suited up for the Austin Bruins and more prominently, the Anchorage Wolverines. Throughout his time in the league, the Duluth, MN native appeared in 128 games, including a trip to the 2024 Robertson Cup. Shea recorded 68 points (24 goals, 44 assists), scoring five game winning goals this season in addition to one power play goal and two shorthanded goals, maintaining a plus-minus of +18.
As the Assistant Captain for the Wolverines and a consistent offensive producer, Shea was selected to attend the 2024 Top Prospects Tournament where he was able to notch three assists on the weekend.
Prior to joining Anchorage, Shea was a member of the 2021-22 Rochester Grizzlies in the NA3HL, playing in 45 games while recording 30 points.
Shea is the 7th player to commit for the Wolverines this season.
