NA Now: Kenai River Brown Bears

The NA Now video series will feature an in-depth look into all NAHL teams in preparation for the 2024-25 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 13th. NA Now will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2024-25 season.

2023-24 season record: 20-34-4-2 – 46 points (8th in Midwest Division)

2024-25 Division: Midwest Division

Heading into his fourth season behind the bench in Kenai River, Head Coach Taylor Shaw speaks to the community support and what it’s like to be a Brown Bear. After addressing their needs in the draft and tender process over the offseason, Shaw and the staff don’t want to lose sight on the day-to-day development of their incoming and returning players. Entering the month of September very soon, Shaw and the players are excited to head into training camp and get the season started.
