New Hampshire Forward Genest makes NCAA DI Commitment

The New Hampshire Mountain Kings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward, Oli Genest, has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for the Air Force Academy in the Atlantic.
Genest is in his third season with the NAHL. He is currently the Mountain Kings team leader with nine goals and 15 total points. He is additionally tied for first in the NAHL with his nine goals. Prior to this season, he was a member of the Maine Nordiques from 2021 to 2023. In his second season with the Nordiques, he scored 20 goals, and had 20 assists over 58 games.
“I’m proud and honored to announce my commitment to further my academics, serve my country, and play division I college hockey at the United States Air Force Academy,” said Oli Genest. “I’d like to thank my family and coaches for helping me get to this point.”
“We are excited for Oli and his family! Air Force Academy is an elite program and have committed to an elite person and player in Oli,” said the New Hampshire head coach, Cam Robichaud. “Oli is a proven leader and producer at the junior level. We look forward to watching him earn success at the collegiate level as a Mountain King alumnus.”
Genest is the fourth player to commit on the Mountain Kings this season.
