The Generals swept the Nordiques with help from Brendan Gillmore's game winner

Northeast 3 @ Maine 2 - The Northeast Generals completed a weekend sweep of the Maine Nordiques, winning by a final score of 3-2 on Sunday afternoon. In the first, many opportunities to score were had by both sides, but solid goaltending brought the game to the first intermission deadlocked at zero. That would not last long, as just 2:21 into the second, Arhip Sidarovich would score his third of the season to put the Nordiques up a goal. With just over six minutes to go before the intermission, Finnegan Connor would even the game, and with under a minute to go until the intermission, Spencer Hirsch would give the visitors the lead after 40 minutes. Just over four minutes into the third, Ocean Fancy would tie the game once again, but with just over five minutes remaining, Brendan Gillmore would be the eventual hero for the Generals, as his first NAHL goal would be the difference, and give the Generals an all important weekend sweep.

Colorado 3 @ Amarillo 4 (OT) - Once again in this weekend three game series, 60 minutes would not be enough to determine a winner, but this time the home Wranglers would take the victory, with a 4-3 overtime win over the Colorado Grit on Sunday afternoon. The only goal of the first period would belong to the visitors, as Lucca Ori would score on the man advantage to give the Grit the lead heading into the locker room. Just before the midway point of the second, Carson Pavlowich would net his first NAHL goal to put the Grit up two, but that wouldn't last long, as just over two minutes later, Gerhard Grayson would wrangle back a goal for the home side, and the Wranglers would remain down a goal after two periods. Early in the third, Emils Skeltins would tie the game, and just past the midway point of the period, Corson Maguire would give the Wranglers the lead, but just four seconds later, George Poirier would tie the game for Colorado, and we would head to bonus hockey, where Salvatore Cerrato would be the hero for Amarillo.
