Maine 2 @ New Hampshire 5 - The New Hampshire Mountain Kings continued their strong play as they won their sixth in a row, beating the Maine Nordiques 5-2. Oil Genest remained the hottest player on the planet as he scored twice in the opening period to bring his total to 22 for the season. Kirill Evstigneev got his first of the campaign to put the Mountain Kings up three heading into the first intermission. Damon Bossie and Kim Hilmersson added to the lead in the second period. Ethan Wongus and Joseph Gasperko scored for Maine but it was nowhere near enough to get Maine back into the game. Sam Scopa was the winner in goal as he made 29 saves. Carter Richardson suffered the loss, stopping 22 of 27.
Corpus Christi 3 @ Lone Star 2 - In a battle of the top teams in the South Division, Corpus Christi came away victorious thanks to a late goal off the stick of Cody Kempf. Ryan Comishock struck first for the Brahmas to give them the lead in the opening period. Billy Biedemann tied the game in the second period but Leo Bergstrom scored in the final seconds of the second period to give Lone Star the lead heading to the locker room again. Cooper Conway tied things up with just under seven minutes to play before Kempf netted the game winner with 1:12 remaining in regulation. Nikita Volsky made 23 saves to pick up the win while Ryan Cameron and Jack Spicer teamed up to make 24 saves for Lone Star.
Shreveport 3 @ Oklahoma 5 - Travis Bryson and Joey DeRosa each potted a pair of goals as the Oklahoma Warriors knocked off the Shreveport Mudbugs 5-3 on Wednesday night. Bryson netted both of his goals in the first period to put the Warriors ahead. Seth Murch and DeRosa traded goals in the opening minutes of the second period before Kyan Haldenby and Murch scored two goals in 18 seconds to even the game at three. DeRosa’s second goal of the game was the game winner coming with just 2:21 remaining. Louie Kamienski added an empty net goal for Oklahoma. Billy Stuski got the win in the blue paint with 25 saves. Nikola Goich was saddled with the loss as he made 25 stops.
Watertown 0 @ Aberdeen 3 - It was all about Leonid Bulgakov and Willum Braun as the Wings shutout the Watertown Shamrocks 3-0. Bulgakov registered all three goals for Aberdeen to pick up the hat trick while Braun stopped all 31 shots fired his way to earn the shutout in goal, his first of the season. Phileas Lachat stopped 31 shots in a loss for the Shamrocks.
Minot 1 @ Bismarck 3 - The Bismarck Bobcats continued to be a wagon as they defeated the Minot Minotauros by a score of 3-1. Three goals in the opening period is all the Bismarck offense needed as Tomas Anderson came up just short in picking up yet another shutout. Kyle Doll, Brendan Ruskowski and Zane Rowan were the goal scorers for the Bobcats. Billy Batten was the lone goal scorer for Minot while Lukas Swedin stopped 28 shots.
Wisconsin 2 @ Minnesota W 5 - The Minnesota Wilderness got production from a handful of players as they beat the Wisconsin Windigo 5-2. Zach Homer scored twice and added an assist to lead all skaters with three points. Patty Dunaiski, Jakeb Lynch and Drew Beasley visited the red light district for Minnesota. Braydon Beahm and Ronnie Hill lit the lamp for the Windigo in a losing effort. Valdemar Anderson earned the win with 28 saves. Wesley Jefferon-Swint II and Lucas Szyszka teamed up to make 32 saves for Wisconsin.
