Chippewa Defenseman Peterson makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The Chippewa Steel of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman George Peterson has committed to play NCAA Division III for Bethel University in the MIAC.
Hailing from the State of Hockey, George Peterson will be skating with the Royals at Bethel University. The 5’11 righty from Duluth, Minnesota is a second-year skater in the NAHL. He spent last season with the Minot Minotauros and Fairbanks Ice Dogs. This season he has laced up in 50 contests for the Steel. On the year he has found the back of the net four times while producing 17 assists. Two of his four goals were game-winning goals for the Steel.
Peterson is one of eight members of the Chippewa Steel to make a college ice hockey commitment.
