Northeast Goaltender Nolan makes NCAA Commitment

The Northeast Generals of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that goaltender Ryan Nolan has committed to play NCAA hockey for St. Olaf College in the MIAC.
The ‘05 netminder from New Hampshire is heading to the Land of Hockey to play with the five-time NCAA Division III National Champions, the St. Norbert Oles. Nolan has played in the blue paint for the Generals in 37 games over the past two seasons and made his NAHL debut last year in March. The ‘05 goaltender featured a 15-13-3-2 record. His best game in the blue paint happened in November against the Maine Nordiques. Nolan turned away 51 out of 52 shots against the Nordiques and picked up the victory for the Generals.
Nolan will join Ryan Gingher from the Watertown Shamrocks this upcoming season in Northfield, Minnesota.
Head Coach of the Generals, Bryan Erickson, shares what he has seen from Nolan.
“Ryan is a great player and a great person. An outstanding young man who came to us from an elite prep school and started winning right away. He was very steady in the net and kept us in games night in and night out, which is all you can ask for as a coach. His work ethic is off the charts, as is his compete level. I loved getting to coach Ryan and am extremely excited to see him end up at St. Olaf’s, a school we have successfully sent many student athletes”
Nolan is the twelfth member of the Northeast Generals to make a college hockey commitment.
