Johnstown Forward Mahar makes NCAA Commitment

The Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Owen Mahar has committed to play NCAA hockey for Wesleyan University in the NESCAC.
The ‘05 righty from Syracuse, New York will skate with the Cardinals in Connecticut in the fall. Mahar is a first-year skater with the Tomahawks. The 19-year-old laced up in 25 games with Johsntown. The 6’1 forward scored a goal and made three assists in those 25 contests. His best game came against the Northeast Generals in November. Mahar scored a goal and made an assist for the Tomahawks.
Mahar is one of the fifteen members of the Johnstown Tomahawks to make a college ice hockey commitment.
