New Mexico Forward Polomsky makes NCAA Commitment
Ben Polomsky has committed to St. Mary's University

The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Ben Polomsky has committed to play NCAA hockey for St. Mary’s University in the MIAC.
The 6’1 lefty from Traverse City, Michigan is heading to skate with the Cardinals in Winona, Minnesota in the fall. Polomsky is a first-year skater in the NAHL. The ‘04 forward hit the ice in 63 contests, tallying 12 goals and eight assists. Two of his 12 goals were named the game-winning goals this past year and he features a +8 rating on the year. The Michigan native had his best game against the Oklahoma Warriors in late November when he notched a two-goal performance. His ability to find the back of the net twice in this contest helped to secure a 2-0 victory at home.
Polomsky will join Nick Noble (Colorado Grit), Lucas Cernohous (Minnesota Mallards), and Kyle Arias (El Paso Rhinos) at St. Mary’s University in the fall.
Head Coach of the Ice Wolves, Kyle McKenzie, shares what he has seen from Polomsky this year.
“Ben was a workhorse for us last season. He brought it every night and was a great leader for our hockey club. We are very happy for Ben and excited to see him thrive at the next level.”
Polomsky is one of eight members of the New Mexico Ice Wolves to make a college ice hockey commitment.
