Minnesota Mallards Forward Steffen makes NCAA Commitment

The Minnesota Mallards of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Landon Steffen has committed to play NCAA hockey for Hamline University in the MIAC.
The 20-year-old from the State of Hockey is staying close to home to play with the Pipers at Hamline University. The 6’1 lefty is a third-year veteran of the NAHL. This past season he hit the ice in 21 games for the Mallards, finding the back of the net twice while producing four assists.
The Minnesota native played for the New Hampshire Mountain Kings the prior season in 21 games, tallying two goals and 11 assists. Steffen got his first taste of the NAHL in the 2022-23 season with the Aberdeen Wings, where he laced up in 10 games during his senior year of high school.
The third-year veteran has a twin brother, Luke, who has played in both the NAHL and NA3HL. This past season Luke hit the ice for the Minnesota Moose in 30 games, notching 16 goals and 26 assists.
Steffen is the seventh member of the Minnesota Mallards to make a college hockey commitment.
