Oklahoma Defenseman Lyons makes NCAA Commitment

The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Colby Lyons has committed to play NCAA hockey for UMass Boston in the Little East.
The 6’4 blueliner from Auburn, New Hampshire is a first-year skater in the NAHL. Lyons has laced up in 52 games for the Warriors this season. The 21-year-old found the back of the net once and produced two assists for the Oklahoma team. Lyons will be joining Rhett Kodsi from the New Hampshire Mountain Kings and Kyle Isenberg from the Lone Star Brahmas in the fall.
Head Coach of the Warriors, Mick Berge, shares his excitement for Lyons’ commitment.
“We couldn’t be happier for Colby on his recent commitment. He is a resilient and determined kid that worked his way onto our team last year by taking advantage of an opportunity and running with it. I have no doubt he will be successful on and off the ice as he starts this new chapter at the NCAA level and we wish him nothing but the best.”
Lyons is one of six members of the Oklahoma Warriors to make a college ice hockey commitment.
