New Hampshire Forward Aldrich makes NCAA Commitment

July 15, 2025

The New Hampshire Mountain Kings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Taybor Aldrich has committed to play NCAA hockey for Endicott College in the CNE.

The 5’11 skater from Vermont will be lacing up with the Gulls in the fall. Aldrich is a second-year veteran in the NAHL. He spent the second-half of his season with the Mountain Kings, hitting the ice in 31 games. He found the back of the net four times and produced one assist with New Hampshire. Prior to playing as a Mountain King, the ‘05 lefty played with the Johnstown Tomahawks. This past season he played in 25 games with the Pennsylvania team, notching six goals and eight assists. One of his goals was scored on the man advantage and one goal was the decider in the contest.

In his debut season with the Tomahawks, the ‘05 forward hit the ice in 49 games with Johnstown. In his rookie season, he scored eight goals and made nine assists for Johnstown. Two of his eight goals were the decider in the contest and he featured +3 rating.

The Vermont native will skate with three fellow NAHL skaters at Endicott College. Joining him in the fall is Pete Sterling from the Colorado Grit, Ryan Vaites from the Philadelphia Rebels, and Louie Kamienski from the Bismarck Bobcats.

Assistant Coach of the Mountain Kings, Trevor Simonson, shares more on Aldrich’s development.

"Taybor was a necessary pick-up for our program at the trade deadline. With his experience, maturity and strong presence on the ice, he made an immediate impact. His grit and determination to fight through checks and play a physical role was impressive to watch on a nightly basis. We look forward to watching him impress the Endicott staff due to the strength of his north-south game, maturity amongst a team, and stellar performance in the classroom."

Aldrich is one of eleven members of the New Hampshire Mountain Kings to make a college hockey commitment.
