Anchorage Forward Gentzler makes NCAA DI Commitment

The Anchorage Wolverines of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Duke Gentzler has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for the Air Force Academy in the Atlantic.
First-year skater in the NAHL, Gentzler will be looking to fly, fight, and win in the fall with the Air Force Academy. The 6’1 righty from Manhattan Beach, California has laced up for a total of 59 games this season. Gentzler started his season with the El Paso Rhinos in the South Division, playing in 26 games. While with the Rhinos, he tallied 11 goals and 10 assists. One of his 11 goals was scored on the power play while one goal was named the decider in a contest.
Gentzler was acquired by Anchorage around the start of the season. The 19-year-old hit the ice in 33 games with the Wolverines, finding the back of the net five times and producing 13 assists.

Gentzler is one of 12 members of the Anchorage Wolverines to make a Division I hockey college commitment.
