The North Iowa Bulls of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Theodore Manlove has committed to play NCAA Hockey for Saint John’s University in the MIAC.
Heading back to the State of Hockey, Manlove will skate with the Johnnies in the fall in Collegeville, Minnesota. The 6’2 lefty is a second-year veteran of the NAHL. This past season, he started his year with the Odessa Jackalopes, lacing up in nine contests. While with the South Division team, he made two assists. Following his time in Odessa, Manlove was acquired by the Minnesota Mallards. The ‘04 forward hit the ice in 13 games, producing four assists. He was then acquired in mid-December by fellow Central Division team, the North Iowa Bulls. While with North Iowa, Manlove skated in 29 matchups, finding the back of the net twice while producing five assists.
The 6’2 lefty played with the Odessa Jackalopes in his debut season in the NAHL. Manlove laced up in 53 games, scoring nine goals while making 19 assists for the South Division team. Manlove will join Nick Noble from the Colorado Grit, Carter Krenke from the Corpus Christi IceRays, and Jordan Larkee from the Odessa Jackalopes this upcoming fall.
Head Coach of the Bulls, Nick Bruneteau, shares more on what it was like to coach Manlove.
“Teddy was a pleasure to coach. He brought a positive outlook to the rink every day, and found ways to contribute up and down the lineup. His ability to see the game and create plays aided our offense, while always being a great teammate. We know his success will continue at college and wish him the best.”
Manlove is one of eight members of the North Iowa Bulls to make a college ice hockey commitment.
