Johnstown Forward Ondris makes NCAA Commitment

August 19, 2025

The Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Adam Ondris has committed to play NCAA hockey for Hobart College in the SUNYAC.

The 5’9 righty from Slovakia will be skating with the three-time defending NCAA Division III National Champions, the Hobart College Statesmen, in the fall. Ondris was the leading scorer on the Tomahawks this past season. In his 64 games played with Johnstown, Ondris tallied 28 goals and 19 assists. Two of his goals were named the game-winning goal, and three goals were scored on the man advantage. The 21-year-old led his team with 28 goals and 47 total points on the year. He was also named as a Top Prospect on the East Division roster for the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament at the USA Hockey Arena.

Ondris is one of the 17 members of the Johnstown Tomahawks to make a college ice hockey commitment.
