Lone Star forward Comishock makes NCAA Commitment

August 20, 2025

The Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Ryan Comishock has committed to play NCAA hockey for Augsburg University in the MIAC.

The 6’2 righty from Vermont is heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to play for the Aggies this fall. Comishock is a third-year member of the Lone Star Brahmas. This past year, he laced up in 53 games for the Brahmas, finding the back of the net 15 times while producing 18 assists for the Texas team. Two of his goals were named the decider in contests, while four were scored on the man advantage. The ‘04 forward played in six games with the Brahmas last season, where he produced an assist for Lone Star.

In Comishock’s debut season, he played in 62 games for Lone Star, tallying 16 goals and 19 assists for the team. The Vermont native played a total of 121 contests wearing the black and purple, notching 69 career points for the Texas team.

Head Coach of the Brahmas, Dan Wildfong, explains the impact of having Comishock on the roster.

“Comishock comes from a great pedigree of hockey. He has battled through adversity and will be a great college player. We can’t wait to see him shine.”

Comishock is one of 15 members of the Lone Star Brahmas to make a college hockey commitment.
