“When you go to the college rinks, the reason why the North American Hockey League is such a trusted league with those schools is because the players are battle tested, " said Head Coach of the Jets, Lennie Childs. “They've gone through those adversities. They've gone through the play style that you're going to get 34 games out of 34 games in college [from them].”
Lennie Childs went into detail on what it means to lead the hockey program that he once played for and what it has felt like to see the city and organization invest in the hockey team. He shares more about the excitement for their new home, The Woodman’s Center, as they prepare for their first home game.
