The Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Landon Fleming has committed to play NCAA hockey for St. Norbert College in the NCHA.
The 5’11 blueliner will head back to his home state of Wisconsin to skate with the Green Knights in the fall. Fleming has played three full seasons in the NAHL. This past season, he ended his year with the Tauros, lacing up in 47 games. The 21-year-old found the back of the net six times and produced 12 assists. He featured a +17 rating during his time in Minot. Prior to skating in North Dakota, Fleming played with the Oklahoma Warriors. He started the season skating in 11 games with Oklahoma, where he tallied two goals and an assist.
In his 2023-24 campaign, Fleming hit the ice in 59 games for Oklahoma. The ‘04 skater found the back of the net six times and notched six assists. One of his goals was named the decider in a contest. In Fleming’s first full season, he skated with the Bismarck Bobcats. The 5’11 lefty scored one goal while making five assists for the Central Division roster. His lone goal was scored on the man advantage. The Wisconsin native got his first taste of the NAHL when he had a one-game call-up with the Janesville Jets in May of 2021.
Head Coach of the Minotauros, Cody Campbell, explains his excitement for Fleming’s next step in his hockey-playing career.
“Landon was a great addition for us in October. He is going to bring a ton of junior hockey experience to St. Norbert and help a perennial contender continue to be just that on the national stage of Division III hockey.”
Fleming is one of 12 members of the Minot Minotauros to make a college hockey commitment.
