Wisconsin Forward Aucoin makes NCAA Commitment

The Wisconsin Windigo of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Ben Aucoin has committed to play NCAA hockey for University of Southern Maine in the Little East.
The 20-year-old from Canada will head to Portland, Maine, to skate with the Huskies in the fall. Aucoin is a first-year skater in the NAHL. He started his year with the Minot Minotauros, where he laced up in 15 games with the Tauros. While in North Dakota, the 5’9 righty found the back of the net three times and notched four assists for the hockey program. Following his time in Minot, the Windigo acquired him late in 2024. Aucoin hit the ice in 44 contests for the Midwest Division roster. He scored eight goals and made 13 assists for the Windigo. Three of his eight goals were named as the decider in contests.
Aucoin is one of 13 members of the Wisconsin Windigo to make a college ice hockey commitment.
