Kenai River Forward Nestler makes NCAA Commitment

The Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Colten Nestler has committed to play NCAA hockey for Concordia College in the MIAC.
The 6’0 lefty from Fargo, North Dakota, will head to Moorhead, Minnesota to play with the Cobbers in the fall. Nestler is a second-year veteran of the NAHL. This season he hit the ice in 46 games for the Brown Bears. The ‘05 forward tallied five goals and five assists. In his debut season in the league, Nestler laced up in 26 games with the Wilderness. He scored a goal and made two assists with the Minnesota team. Nestler will join fellow North Dakota skater, Noah Diemer from the North Iowa Bulls, in the fall.
Nestler is one of five members of the Kenai River Brown Bears to make a college ice hockey commitment.
