Minot Defenseman Thue makes NCAA Commitment

The Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Connor Thue has committed to play NCAA hockey for Hamilton College in the NESCAC.
Thue is a first-year blueliner in the League of Opportunity, and he will head to skate with the Continentals in the fall. The 5’9 righty has hit the ice for the Tauros in 57 games this year. He tallied three goals and seven assists when he was on the ice. Two of his goals were named the decider in contests.
The Manhattan Beach, California native will head to Hamilton College with two fellow NAHL skaters. Joining him will be Clarence Beltz and Curtiss Sturgeon from the Elmira Aviators.
Head Coach of the Minotauros, Cody Campbell, explains why Thue is ready to take the next step in his hockey-playing career.
“We are proud of Connor and his commitment to Hamilton. Connor was a consistent piece of our ‘D core’ this past year. He will be heading to Hamilton prepared for the on-ice competition and the rigors of the academic environment that Hamilton provides.”
Thue is one of 12 members of the Minot Minotauros to make a college hockey commitment.
