Shreveport Forward Deeb makes NCAA Commitment

The Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Lucas Deeb has committed to play NCAA hockey for Adrian College in the NCHA.
The 6’2 righty from New Baltimore, Michigan, is heading back to his home state to skate with the Bulldogs in the fall. Deeb is a second-year veteran of the Mudbugs. This past season, the ‘04 skater laced up in 62 games for the Mudbugs. Deeb scored a team-leading 26 goals while making 24 assists. The 21-year-old ranks second on his roster with 50 points on the season. Deeb scored 10 of his goals on the man advantage, and seven of his goals were named the decider in contests. He was also named as a Top Prospect for the South Division roster at the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament.
Deeb’s debut season saw him hit the ice in 65 games, tallying 20 goals and 21 assists for the Mudbugs. Four of his goals were named the game-winning goal in games, while three of his goals were scored on the power play.
The Michigan native played a total of 129 games in the NAHL with the Mudbugs. He produced 91 career points with the Shreveport team.
Head Coach of the Mudbugs, Jason Campbell, shares more on what he has seen from Deeb.
“Lucas Deeb has a ton of skill and creativity to go along with a good-sized frame and skating ability. He’s gifted with the ability to score goals, but he also rounded out his defensive game while in Shreveport. He’s fun to watch on the ice, and his personality is easy to love off the ice.”
Deeb is one of 11 members of the Shreveport Mudbugs to make a college hockey commitment.
