New Hampshire Alternate Captain Hilmersson makes NCAA Commitment

The New Hampshire Mountain Kings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Kim Hilmersson has committed to play NCAA hockey for Plymouth State University in the Little East Conference.
Hailing from the hockey-rich nation of Sweden, Hilmersson will hit the ice with the Panthers in the fall. The 6’1 lefty is a third-year veteran of the NAHL. This past year he laced up in 57 games for the Mountain Kings. Hilmersson is one of the top scorers for New Hampshire; he tallied 23 goals and 25 assists. He ranks second on his roster with his 23 goals on the year. Three of his goals were named as the game-winning goals, and 10 of his goals were scored on the man advantage. He was named as a Top Prospect for the East Division roster at the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament.
In his 2023-24 campaign, Hilmersson started his season with the Maine Nordiques. He laced up in nine games, where he tallied three goals and three assists. Following his short stint, he was then acquired by the Mountain Kings in October. He then went on to hit the ice in 44 games, finding the back of the net 11 times, while producing six assists.
His debut season saw Hilmersson skating with the Maine Nordiques for 60 games. The ‘04 skater scored seven goals and made 10 assists for the roster. He played a total of 168 games for the Maine Nordiques, tallying 44 goals and 44 assists, for 88 career points.
Hilmersson is one of 14 members of the New Hampshire Mountain Kings to make a college hockey commitment.
