New Mexico Captain Hull makes NCAA Commitment

The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that Captain Ethan Hull has committed to play NCAA hockey for Bethel University in the MIAC.
The ‘04 righty from River Falls, Wisconsin, will skate with the Royals in the fall at Bethel University. Hull is a second-year veteran of the New Mexico Ice Wolves. This past season, Hull laced up in 60 contests for New Mexico, tallying 16 goals and 31 assists. The Wisconsin native ranks second on his roster with 47 points on the season. Four of his goals were named the decider in contests, while six goals were scored on the man advantage. Hull was named as a Top Prospect for the South Division roster at the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament. He found the back of the net for his team at the USA Hockey Arena.
Hull is a representation of the ladder of development that the NAHL promotes. In his debut season in junior hockey, the 5’10 righty started his year with the New Mexico Ice Wolves’ 3HL team. In his 26 games played with the 3HL team, Hull found the back of the net 16 times and notched 13 assists. He then received a midseason call-up to the New Mexico’s NAHL team. He went on to play in 37 games for the team, tallying six goals and 11 assists.
Head Coach of the Ice Wolves, Kyle McKenzie, shares more on what it means to have Hull on the New Mexico roster.
“We are thrilled for Ethan on his commitment to Bethel. He is the type of player coaches love to work with and he is a true leader. We look forward to keeping tabs on Ethan and tracking his success.”
Hull is one of nine members of the New Mexico Ice Wolves to make a college ice hockey commitment.
