“My experience was a little bit different growing up in Oklahoma back then. It wasn't a hockey hotbed down here like it is now,” said Mick Berge. “I had to learn that I had to work really hard to get there, and it was a goal of mine. I'm very proud that I attained that goal, and I got to play Division I at Minnesota State.”
Hailing from Oklahoma, Berge will get the opportunity to serve as the Head Coach of his hometown team. With experience of playing at the junior and Division I level, Berge understands what it takes to get athletes to their next stage in their hockey career. He shares more on his goals for the season and how he plans on getting the Oklahoma Warriors into a position to make a playoff push.
