First Puck Drop of 2025-26 Season is One Week Away

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is quickly counting down the days to the 2025-26 season. 

The season kicks off September 12, 2025 with 22 teams hitting the ice for the opening weekend, with the rest of the teams lacing in the following week. All 34 NAHL teams in all four divisions (Central, East, Midwest, and South) will play in 59 regular season games. After coming off a record-breaking 422 college commitments, the NAHL is ready and equipped to continue to develop, advance, and expose the next wave of athletes.

“As we head into the 51st season of the NAHL, we are ecstatic to see the high-level competition and opportunities the league’s athletes will receive while playing,” stated NAHL Commissioner and President Mark Frankenfeld. “We look forward to watching the players develop into college-ready athletes and young men who are ready for their next step in their lives.”

2025-2026 NAHL Divisional Alignment:

Central Division (8): Aberdeen Wings, Austin Bruins, Bismarck Bobcats, Minnesota Mallards, Minot Minotauros, North Iowa Bulls, St. Cloud Norsemen, Watertown Shamrocks

East Division (10): Elmira Aviators, Danbury Hat Tricks, Johnstown Tomahawks, Maine Nordiques, Maryland Black Bears, New Hampshire Mountain Kings, New Jersey Titans, Northeast Generals, Philadelphia Rebels, Rochester Jr. Americans

Midwest Division (8): Anchorage Wolverines, Chippewa Steel, Fairbanks Ice Dogs, Janesville Jets, Kenai River Brown Bears, Minnesota Wilderness, Springfield Jr. Blues, Wisconsin Windigo
