Head Coach of the Jr. Americans, Francois Methot, explains how impressed he is with the new group of athletes.
“I feel like the group is really eager to be part of this [organization]. We take it as a compliment because we graduated 18 players. It's a brand-new team. Our returners have come back and are ready for this season. The [veterans have the] right attitude. They're leading the way on and off the ice. But the new players, the scouting staff here has done a really good job understanding what I'm about as a coach and what we're about as an organization, and what sticks. So we really vetted every single player that came in.”
Francois Methot heads into his third season as the bench boss of the Jr. Americans. After coming off a monumental season, making their way to the Robertson Cup Semifinal Series, the Jr. Americans are hungry to make their way to Blaine, Minnesota, once again. Methot goes into detail on what the summer has looked like for the Rochester organization and how they are preparing to hit the ice this season.
