Kenai River's offensive prowess was on full display with Carter McCormick netting the opening goal at 14:11 in the first period, assisted by Braden Hansberger. The second period saw a short-handed goal from Kristians Utnans and another strike by Massimiliano Monson, extending the lead to 3-0.
