El Paso 2 @ Amarillo 3 - A ferocious comeback effort fell short for the El Paso Rhinos Saturday, as the Amarillo Wranglers earned revenge in a tightly-contested 3-2 battle Friday. Amarillo held a 3-0 lead with under 10 minutes to play, but two El Paso goals in the final nine minutes suddenly set up a photo finish. The win helps Amarillo keep pace in the ultra-competitive South Division, as third place and seventh place are separated by just two points. Tommy Shore then set up the race to the finish with his fourth goal of the campaign with 4:29 remaining. Despite the scare, Antoine-Girard and the rest of Amarillo’s defense held strong, breathing a sigh of relief and escaping with a 3-2 win.
