Danbury Forward Regan makes NCAA Commitment

March 16, 2026

The Danbury Hat Tricks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Evan Regan has committed to play NCAA hockey for Babson College in the Little East.

The 5-foot-10 skater from Acton, Massachusetts, will head back to his home state to skate with the Beavers in the fall. Regan is a first-year forward for the Hat Tricks. The ‘06 right-hand shot has laced up in 33 games for Danbury this season. He has found the back of the net three times and has produced nine assists for the Connecticut-based team. For the season, he features a +5 rating.

Head coach of the Hat Tricks, Lenny Caglianone, went into detail on Regan’s character on and off the ice.

“Evan is a dynamic player who has consistently given us 200 feet of hockey. His enthusiasm for the game is contagious and is a staple inside our locker room. His selflessness as a person is so rare and intangible that any coach would love. The staff and I are thrilled for Evan and his family, as well as the future he can build at Babson. Jamie Rice is getting an incredible human and leader for the Babson room.”

Regan is one of nine members of the Danbury Hat Tricks to make a college ice hockey commitment.
