Thursday Thriller: St. Cloud Shutouts Watertown at Home

Watertown 0 @ St. Cloud 2 - The Shamrocks hit the road and took on the Norsemen for a one-game special. The contest kicked off with both teams trading chances in the opening frame; however, neither team found twine. Looking to strike, the Norsemen in the second frame were able to convert on the man advantage thanks to Riley Fast lighting the lamp three minutes into the frame. Moving into the final period, the Shamrocks were looking to even the score, so they pulled their goaltender in the final few minutes of the game. However, the Norsemen took advantage of the puck and scored an empty-netter thanks to Christian Garrity. Between the pipes for St. Cloud, Izaak Kalis was perfect, turning aside all 27 shots.
