Philadelphia Forward Klochkov makes NCAA Commitment

The Philadelphia Rebels of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Thomas Klochkov has committed to play NCAA hockey for Hamilton College in the NESCAC.

The 5-foot-11 lefty from Wharton, New Jersey, will head to Clinton, New York, to skate as a Continental in the fall. Klochkov is a third-year veteran of the NAHL. The ‘05 skater started his junior career with the Northeast Generals and played for them for three seasons. In his 2023-24 campaign, the forward played in 45 games for the Generals, tallying four goals while making six assists. In his sophomore season, the New Jersey native appeared in 20 games for Northeast, scoring twice and producing 11 assists. In Klochkov’s age-out season, the 5-foot-11 skater hit the ice for 28 games with the Generals. He scored two goals while making 16 assists for his team. Following his time with Northeast, Klochkov was acquired by the Rebels. He has played in 19 games for Philadelphia, scoring six goals while notching seven assists for the team.

He has played over 100 games in the NAHL. Klochkov has 54 career points in his three years played.

Head coach of the Rebels, Justin Hale, went into detail on Klochkov’s commitment to development.

“This commitment is a testament to the consistency and effort Thomas brings to the rink every day. He has earned this opportunity not only through his contributions on the ice but also through his perseverance and commitment to being a great teammate. I’m excited to see him continue to grow and succeed at the collegiate level.”

Klochkov is one of 10 members of the Philadelphia Rebels to make a college ice hockey commitment.
