New Jersey Captain Schrott makes NCAA Commitment

The New Jersey Titans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Skogen Schrott has committed to play NCAA hockey for Hamilton College in the NESCAC. 

Hailing from the Sunshine State, Skogen Schrott will head to Waterville, Maine, to skate for Colby College in the fall. Schrott is a first-year forward in the NAHL. This season, the 5-foot-9 righty led the Titans with 32 goals and 64 points on the season. Schrott’s play-making ways continued with his ability to produce the set-up for his teammates, with the Florida native ranking second on New Jersey with 32 assists and his +18 rating. His ability to find twine ranked him in the top 10 of skaters in the NAHL during the regular season. The 5-foot-9 forward spotlighted 17 multi-point contests in his 54 games played during the regular season. This season, Schrott scored three game-winning goals, while finding twine nine times on the power play.

The first-year forward will join two fellow NAHL skaters at Colby College next season. Emerson Marshall from the Johnstown Tomahawks and his current New Jersey Titans teammate, Jonathan Lanza will lace up for the Colby College ice hockey program.

Schrott is one of nine members of the New Jersey Titans to make a college ice hockey commitment.
