North Iowa Forward Higley makes NCAA Commitment

The North Iowa Bulls of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Davis Higley has committed to play NCAA hockey for Nazareth University in the UCHC.

The 5-foot-8 forward from San Ramon, California, Highley will join the Golden Flyers in Rochester, New York, in the fall. The ‘05 skater is a second-year North Iowa veteran with 110 career games as a Bull. Highley played 55 games during the 2025-26 campaign, recording one goal and six assists. In his rookie season with the Bulls, the California native laced up in 55 games, scoring four points with the team. He scored three goals while notching an assist in his first season of junior hockey.

Prior to skating with the Bulls, Higley spent two seasons in the T1ER, playing for Omaha Mastery. During his 2023-24 campaign, Higley featured seven points in eight games played. He tallied four goals and three assists. In his first season with the Omaha Mastery program, the forward laced up in seven games, notching an assist in that span.

Higley is one of four members of the North Iowa Bulls to make a college ice hockey commitment.
