New Mexico Defenseman Moskvitin makes NCAA Commitment

The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Andrey Moskvitin has committed to play NCAA hockey for Concordia College in the MIAC.

The 6-foot-4 blueliner from Tomsk, Russia, Moskvitin will head to Moorhead, Minnesota, to play for the Cobbers in the fall. Moskvitin is a second-year veteran of the New Mexico Ice Wolves. This season, the 20-year-old played in 50 regular-season games for New Mexico, tallying two goals and six assists. Moskvitin has already made an impact in the postseason, featuring a three-point night against the El Paso Rhinos on Friday night. The 6-foot-4 lefty recorded a goal while making two assists for the Ice Wolves.

Last season, Moskvitin featured a 14-point season from the blue line in his 44 games played. The 20-year-old recorded three goals while producing 11 assists for New Mexico.

Moskvitin is one of eight members of the New Mexico Ice Wolves to make a college ice hockey commitment.
