St. Cloud Forward Farrell makes NCAA Commitment

The St. Cloud Norsemen of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Wyatt Farrell has committed to play NCAA hockey for Buffalo State University in the SUNYAC.

Hailing from the State of Hockey, Farrell will lace up for the Bengals in Buffalo, New York, in the fall. The 5-foot-9 skater is a second-year veteran for the Norsemen. The ‘05 righty has played over 100 career games with the Minnesota-based team. This past season, Farrell laced up for every game in the regular season. The 20-year-old ranked third on his roster with 12 tallies. In addition to his goal-scoring, Farrell featured 12 assists and 24 points on the year. One of his goals this year was named the game-winning goal, with two of his tallies scored on the man advantage. His best contest this year was a three-point night against the Aberdeen Wings on December 6, 2025. He scored two goals while making an assist in the 4-2 victory over the South Dakota team.

In his rookie season, Farrell, a Minneapolis, Minnesota native, played in 43 games, scoring two goals and adding four assists. Both goals were game-winners. Farrell was introduced to the League of Opportunity with a weekend call-up by the Norsemen during the 2023-24 season.

Farrell is one of five members of the St. Cloud Norsemen to make a college ice hockey commitment.
