North Iowa Forward Osborn makes NCAA Commitment
The North Iowa Bulls of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Parker Osborn has committed to play NCAA hockey for Salve Regina University.
The 6-foot lefty from the State of Hockey, Osborn, will lace up for the Seahawks in the fall in Rhode Island. The 21-year-old is a second-year veteran of the North Iowa Bulls. This season, the ‘05 skater played in 29 games for the Central Division team. Osborn registered six goals while making 16 assists in that span. One of his tallies was named the game-winner in a contest, while three goals were scored on the man advantage.
In his first season playing in the League of Opportunity, the Minnesota native laced up in 44 games for the Bulls. He found twine 10 times while making 10 assists in that span. Two of his tallies were scored on the power play, while one goal was named the decider in a contest.
In his NAHL junior hockey career, he played 73 games and featured 42 points in that two-year junior hockey career with North Iowa.
Osborn is one of seven members of the North Iowa Bulls to make a college ice hockey commitment.
