Oklahoma Forward Iwinski makes NCAA Commitment
The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward AJ Iwinski has committed to play NCAA hockey for the University of Southern Maine in the Little East.
Hailing from Winfield, Illinois, Iwinski will join the Huskies in Portland, Maine, in the fall. The ‘05 skater is a first-year player in the League of Opportunity. He was drafted in the second round, 37th overall, by the Oklahoma Warriors during the 2025 NAHL Entry Draft. This season, the 20-year-old forward was three games shy of playing every contest during the regular season. Iwinski scored five goals while making nine assists for the Warriors. He registered two of his goals on the penalty kill for Oklahoma this season, while one tally was named the decider in a contest.
