Oklahoma Defenseman Burlison makes NCAA Commitment

The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Trent Burlison has committed to play NCAA hockey for Concordia University Wisconsin in the NCHA.

The 20-year-old blueliner from the Lone Star State, Burlison, will join the Falcons. Burlison is a second-year veteran of the Oklahoma Warriors. This past season, the 5-foot-11 righty registered 16 points in 53 regular-season games. The ‘05 skater tallied three goals and made 13 assists for the South Division team. One of his tallies was scored in game-winning fashion for Oklahoma. His work on the ice helped to propel the Warriors to a postseason appearance. Burlison laced up in three postseason contests with Oklahoma.

In his rookie season in the League of Opportunity, Burlison hit the ice in 56 games for the Warriors. He found twine eight times and made 19 assists for Oklahoma. The ‘05 skater appeared in 112 career games with the Warriors.

Burlison is one of four Oklahoma Warriors to make a college ice hockey commitment.
