Corpus Christi Forward Mackenzie makes NCAA Commitment

The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Jack Mackenzie has committed to play NCAA hockey for Skidmore College in the SUNYAC.

The 5-foot-11 lefty from Westfield, Indiana, Mackenzie will head to Saratoga Springs, New York, to play with the Thoroughbreds in the fall. The ‘05 forward wrapped up his final season of junior hockey, playing 57 games with the IceRays. During the regular season, Mackenzie notched 27 points for the South Division team. Mackenzie scored nine goals and made 18 assists for the IceRays. One of his tallies was notched on the man advantage with Corpus Christi.

Mackenzie is one of 11 members of the Corpus Christi IceRays to make a college ice hockey commitment.
