Danbury Forward Zimovcak makes NCAA Commitment

The Danbury Hat Tricks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Lukas Zimovcak has committed to play NCAA hockey for Skidmore College in the SUNYAC.

The ‘05 skater from Cedar Grove, New Jersey, Zimovcak, will head to New York in the fall to play for the Thoroughbreds. Zimovcak played 56 games with the Hat Tricks this season. In the regular season, the 21-year-old registered 19 points over 51 games. He tallied five goals and made 14 assists for the Connecticut-based team. The future Thoroughbreds helped the Hat Tricks make their first postseason appearance as an organization. In the playoffs, the ‘05 forward scored two goals in five games.

The 21-year-old was a ninth-round draft pick by the Hat Tricks in the 2025 NAHL Entry Draft.

Zimovcak is one of 12 members of the Danbury Hat Tricks to make a college ice hockey commitment.
