NAHL Announces 2026-2027 Regular Season Schedule
The North American Hockey League (NAHL) has announced the release of the 2026-27 regular season schedule.
Celebrating the 52nd year in the upcoming 2026-27 season, the NAHL is the oldest and one of only two USA Hockey Certified tuition-free junior hockey leagues. Boasting 36 teams across the United States, the NAHL develops young men through hockey while providing those with college hockey aspirations a place to play, develop, and advance. The NAHL continues to be one of the best places in the world at advancing players to the NCAA and eventually professional hockey.
With over 352 NCAA commitments so far in the 2025-26 season, the league has now set a standard of 300+ NCAA commitments in the last 10 years. The NAHL has become a stepping stone for athletes looking to play NCAA hockey. Out of the college commitments the league has seen this past season, 54% of those commitments are NCAA Division I. Leading up to the 2026 NHL Draft, nine athletes with NAHL ties are featured on the NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings.

All 36 NAHL teams in all five divisions (Central, East, Midwest, Mountain, and South) will play in 59 regular season games. The regular season will commence on September 11, 2026, and conclude on April 17, 2027.
The 23rd annual NAHL Showcase will be held from September 23-26, 2026, at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. Every NAHL team will play three regular season games at the Showcase. Like previous years, the United States National Team Development Program (USNTDP) will join the annual event and face NAHL teams. This tournament is one of hockey’s most prominent and popular events for the entire season and has become known as the “Greatest Show on Ice.” Having every NAHL team in the building for scouts across the country to come watch the league’s athletes have become a cornerstone for scouts. The yearly event brings together every NCAA program and NHL team for their first look at some of the best and brightest hockey talent North America has to offer.

East Division (8): Elmira Aviators, Danbury Hat Tricks, Johnstown Tomahawks, Maryland Black Bears, New Hampshire Mountain Kings, New Jersey Titans, Northeast Generals, Philadelphia Rebels
Midwest Division (8): Anchorage Wolverines, Fairbanks Ice Dogs, Janesville Jets, Kenai River Brown Bears, Minnesota Mallards, Minnesota Wilderness, Springfield Jr. Blues, Wisconsin Windigo
