St. Cloud Defenseman Shaw makes NCAA Commitment

The St. Cloud Norsemen of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Avry Shaw has committed to play NCAA hockey for Norwich University in the Little East.

The 6-foot blueliner from Estero, Florida, Shaw will join the Cadets at Norwich University in the fall. Shaw was a round one, 18th overall draft pick by the St. Cloud Norsemen in the 2025 NAHL Entry Draft. The ‘05 skater was one game shy of playing every regular season game for St. Cloud. Shaw hit the ice in 58 contests, tallying 11 goals and 15 assists. Shaw ranked first among defensemen on his roster with his 11 tallies. The 6-foot blueliner’s 26 points have him situated in the top five of scoring for St. Cloud last year. Additionally, six of his goals were scored on the man advantage.

Shaw is one of seven members of the St. Cloud Norsemen to make a college ice hockey commitment.
