NAHL players well represented at 2026 NHL Development Camps

Each summer after the conclusion of the NHL Draft, member teams of the NHL hold their annual development and prospect camps. Former and current NAHL players once again are a significant part of the mix as over 60+ athletes with NAHL ties are in attendance at camps. 

The numerous NAHL alumni at these NHL development camps come at the heels of another memorable season of advancement for the NHL. With 350+ NCAA commitments so far during the 2025-26 season, the league has set a new standard with 300+ NCAA commitments in each of the last ten seasons. Over half of this year’s commitments are Division I. 

The league saw nine players with NAHL ties taken in the 2026 NHL Draft. Five of those athletes went to development camp this past week.
