New Jersey Defenseman Creech makes NCAA Commitment

July 13, 2026

The New Jersey Titans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Ty Creech has committed to play NCAA hockey for Amherst College in the NESCAC.

The 6-foot-4 blueliner from the Sunshine State, Creech, will join the Mammoths in the fall. Creech is a second-year veteran of the Titans, joining New Jersey midway through last season. This past year, the ‘05 lefty played just two games shy of every regular season contest for the Titans. In his 57 games played, the blueliner found twine 11 times while notching 18 assists for the East Division team. He recorded two game-winning goals and four power-play tallies. Creech produced 29 total points on the scoresheet during his 2025-26 campaign, leading all defensemen on his roster. In the postseason, the Tampa, Florida skater notched an assist in his two playoff games played.

For his 2024-25 campaign, the 6-foot-4 righty hit the ice in 17 games for the East Division. He recorded two goals and made seven assists for the Titans. Both tallies scored by Creech were scored in power-play fashion for New Jersey.

Creech is one of 15 members of the New Jersey Titans to make a college ice hockey commitment.
