Corpus Christi Forward Swift makes NCAA Commitment

The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Easton Swift has committed to play NCAA hockey for Norwich University in the Little East.

The 6-foot-2 forward from West Hartford, Connecticut, Swift will join the Norwich University Cadets, one of the oldest college hockey programs in the country. Swift just finished his final year of junior hockey, skating in 59 games for the IceRays. The ‘05 skater was one of the top scorers on his team in his age-out season. He scored 15 goals and made 24 assists for the South Division team. Four of his tallies were scored in game-winning fashion while registering a +7 rating. His 39 points in the regular season rank him second amongst scoring for the IceRays in the 2025-26 season.

His work on the ice earned him a spot at the annual Top Prospects Tournament. Swift laced up for the South Division roster and played an impactful role on the scoresheet. During the two-day event, he tallied two goals and produced an assist at the USA Hockey Arena.

Prior to playing in the South Division, he had a taste of the League of Opportunity with a four-game stint with the Maine Nordiques in the 2024-25 season.

In addition, Swift is the youngest of three brothers who played in the NAHL. His oldest brother, Cooper Swift, played a season with the Maine Nordiques before moving on to a four-year career at Hobart College. His other older brother, Bauer Swift, had a two-year career with the Lone Star Brahmas, where he served as an Alternate Captain with the South Division team. Both brothers just wrapped up playing together at Hobart College for the 2025-26 season.

Swift is one of 10 members of the Corpus Christi IceRays to make a college ice hockey commitment.
