Oklahoma Defenseman Sabol makes NCAA Commitment

The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Bronson Sabol has committed to play NCAA hockey for University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the WIAC.

The 6-foot-2 blueliner from Madison, Wisconsin, Sabol will continue his hockey career in his home state with the Bluegolds. Sabol just wrapped up his age-out season with the Oklahoma Warriors in the South Division. The ‘05 righty was a 2025 NAHL Entry Draft pick by the Warriors. He was selected third overall by the South Division team. Sabol laced up in 39 contests during the regular season, recording 22 points for the Warriors. He found twine five times while notching 17 assists. Two of his five tallies were scored in man-advantage fashion for the South Division team. His work on the ice earned him a spot at the 2026 Top Prospects Tournament. He played for the South Division team and notched an assist at the annual event.

Prior to skating in the League of Opportunity, the 20-year-old spent time in the T1ER skating with the CarShield AAA program and Madison Capitols.

The ‘05 defenseman is joining a hockey program that has winning a championship in its DNA. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds won the national title in 2013.

Sabol is one of nine Oklahoma Warriors to make an NCAA ice hockey commitment.
