Janesville Alternate Captain Olson makes NCAA Commitment

The Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Brody Olson has committed to play NCAA hockey for Bethel University in the MIAC.

The ‘06 Minnesota native will play for the Bethel University Royals in the fall. Olson just finished his first full season of NAHL play. The 6-foot lefty was a 2025 NAHL Entry Draft pick by the Janesville Jets. He was drafted from the Rochester Grizzlies in the NA3HL, where he spent the 2024-25 season playing. Oslon skated with the Jets in 55 contests this year, recording 12 points for the Midwest Division team. The Champlin, Minnesota, blueliner scored four goals and made eight assists. The 20-year-old got a taste of the League of Opportunity in the 2024-25 season with a five-game stint with the Jets following the conclusion of the Rochester Grizzlies’ season.

With Rochester, the State of Hockey defenseman laced up in 40 games, logging 18 points in his rookie season. He lit the lamp five times while notching 13 assists for the Grizzlies. Thanks to his work on the ice, Olson earned the opportunity to advance up the Ladder of Development to the Janesville Jets in the 2025-26 season.

Olson is one of nine members of the Janesville Jets to make a college ice hockey commitment.
