Oklahoma Forward Galnor makes NCAA Commitment

The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Jakub Galnor has committed to play NCAA hockey for Utica University in the UCHC.

The ‘06 forward from Prerov, Czechia, Galnor will join the Pioneers in New York in the fall. Galnor is a second-year NAHL veteran, and this past season the 20-year-old recorded nearly a point per game in 56 regular season games played. The 6-foot righty led his team on the scoresheet with 51 points during the regular season, ranking second on the Warriors with 19 goals and 32 assists. Four of his tallies were scored in game-winning fashion this year while four goals were logged on the man advantage. Thanks to his work on the ice, Galnor helped Oklahoma punch a ticket to the postseason. He appeared in three postseason contests with the Warriors.

Prior to skating in the South Division, Galnor played in the Midwest Division with the Anchorage Wolverines. The  6-foot skater laced up in 11 games, recording a goal and an assist for the Alaska-based team.

The Czechia native joins an NCAA college hockey program that routinely makes postseason pushes. The Utica University Pioneers have made six-straight NCAA Tournament appearances since 2020.

Galnor is one of nine Oklahoma Warriors to make an NCAA ice hockey commitment.
